We also appreciated the close proximity of the friendly Chequers inn, which served delicious food. the location was perfect for exploring nearby Pear Tree Park and ride, offering an efficient and cost-effective way to visit Oxford.

The chiming bells from a nearby church every hour. Although everything else was nearly perfect, this constant noise was a bit of a negative.

I had a wonderful stay at this great little cottage in a lovely area. Dove House Cottages - No 2 was the perfect home base for my visit to Blenheim Palace, only 20 minutes away. the cottage itself was spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches like milk, eggs, and toiletries provided by the owners. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful view of the church from the front of the property, and the overall quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the nearby pub just a 2-minute walk away was a charming place to grab a bite to eat. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all! 🌟.
